Sailor's Spring

Sailor's Spring  1 14 oz can of wild Alaskan pink salmon 1 onion 1 egg 2 tablespoons of flour 1/2 c of vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1/2 teaspoon of salt The first step to cooking this delight snack is to open the canned salmon and separate the bones from the fish. The second step to cooking this delight snack is to heat the vegetable oil in a medium skillet as you are preparing the salmon croquettes. In a bowl, combine the salmon, egg, flour, diced onion, salt, and black pepper. Stir until mixed well. Create a patty of the salmon mix (similar to a hamburger).  Place salmon croquettes in the heated oil until browned on both sides. Cook a little longer for desired crisp. When salmon croquettes are removed from the heated oil place the salmon croquettes in a strainer to drain, or on top of paper towels on a plate, or on a brown paper bag to absorb the oil from the salmon croquettes. Enjoy your Sailor's Spring delights.  TTYL, M...
