Job Search
Seeking employment is an anxious responsibility nobody want to repeat. It does not matter how much a person dislike a job; that person will compromise their living to satisfy bare minimum requirements to function in today's society until necessary. Today's society require a sort of income that is mutual interest. Employment applications look intimidating after steady employment due to complacency.
Reason for Job Search
It is simple: To be without mutual interest a person will result in homelessness, poverty, and/or starvation.
How to Job Search
Conduct your job search for 8 hours of a custom schedule during business days. Keep track of each application submitted to employers throughout the day. The easiest way to track applications are by legal pad and pen in your portfolio- note the name of business interested, the business hours, date application was submitted, position applied, posted salary, desired salary, date position was posted, method of application submission, names of staff you spoke with. Wait 2 weeks after you have submitted your application for a job to contact the employer to introduce yourself and mention the reason for your call. For example: "Hello, my name is MommyNMeTours. I am calling in regard to the publications position posted on your website on 10/01/2023. I will like the opportunity to interview for the position. Is the hiring manager available to discuss qualification listed on my resume." Most of the time the response is, "The status of your application will be available online," or "Hiring Manager will contact you if your resume is selected." Do not get discouraged if you received such responses. It has only been 2 weeks. Continue to apply for jobs as you bank on your top 5 career applications.
REMINDER
{Pen is permanent, pencil is temporary.}
If you are looking for temporary work write in pencil! I assure you the door is always open. Temporary work changes all the time.
FYI
- 5-hour days do not receive a lunch break.
- Lunch breaks are 30 minutes.
- Would you job search with a friend? No, lunch is not playtime. You are seeking employment.
- Written applications are best completed at home.
- Written applications are best submitted in the morning time frame.
- Telephone calls are strategic.
Mindset During Job Search
"I bees in the trap/ bees bees in the trap" is not the mindset to tackle such vulnerable responsibilities. If you have to listen to music to prepare for such events, I suggest soothing tones that relaxes your mood because job searching is not a delightful path. Words are the paint brushes of encounters during the interview process.
Job Search Attire
Always dress professional for the position applied. The first 15 seconds of your image is the first impression an establishment, organization, agency, sector, industry uses to determine the longevity of the interview.
Online or In-Person
It depends, Online interviews are virtual interviews available to applicants who do not live in the same state as the employer, or travel occupations. In-person interviews are available to the public upon selection of consideration. The level of job rank is important as well when determining which style of interview you will sell yourself to seal your career. Online or in-person is a complete personal choice.

MommyNMeTours Opinion
My personal preference are in-person applicants. In-person allows the applicant to decide, "Do I fit in this environment?" I guess you can say my view is old school in preference to employment. However, employment has evolved. As a result, my skills were required to suit the younger generation as well. Each working generation is introduced by a development of technology or skill. I utilize online applications but, in my opinion, online applications has provided comfort leisure in-person applicants would not allot. Which means a lot of downtime is available where in the past an employee would fill the void to make every hour of the workday count.
Advance Career Advice
You deserve a promotion. You are ready for career advancement, right? I will advise keep legal dictation of reasons why you deserve a promotion supported with productions. Documentation of your career is important because documentation indicates you are serious, you are aware of your decisions, you have researched and fully understand the reason a decline of your pitch for career advancement should not be acceptable. You are a great candidate for the position you have applied.
Degree or No Degree
There are notable differences of an employee with a degree versus without a degree. Please, do not take offense to the notation of differences but be understanding I experienced employer bloopers as well. If you should gain your career without a degree the differences will show in the production of work you produce. Your produce of productions reflect your level of comprehension. As a result, your level of comprehension determines your network. If you should gain your career with a degree the difference will be silence but the effect of your production will be noticable. Your produce of production will be your signature portfolio.
